The church was one of Mudgee's early outlying country churches. Built in 1939 and known as St James catholic church it served the area where the Windamere Dam now is. It has been renovated to provide comfortable, self-contained accommodation while retaining its original charm. As the church only accommodates one booking at a time it is exclusively yours to enjoy. "The church looks like a tin shed from the outside but inside it has been totally renovated to a high standard. Wonderfully romantic with the log fire & so peaceful on the farm. Check out the stars at night!" - Cathy, ACT |
